Day Trains:
The Intercity Plus daytime trains are made up of air-conditioned and sound-proofed first class and second class cars plus mini-bar service and a self-service or restaurant car.

Special access conditions for Riviera trains

The ticket:
To travel on Riviera trains a ticket and a seat reservation must be purchased. The tickets are therefore only valid for the day and train booked.

Pre-sale and date change
The ticket can be purchased up to three months prior to the date of departure, at authorized points of sale. If, once purchased, the departure date needs to be changed, the issue of a new ticket can be requested in the country where the original ticket was bought. Conditions for the change vary according to the tariff previously chosen.

the service and accommodation: night vs. day (1st and 2nd class)
Riviera passholder fares are required reservation fees for those using a Eurailpass, Eurail Select Pass, or a Eurail France 'n Italy Pass.
