The ticket:
To travel on Riviera trains a ticket and a seat reservation must be purchased. The tickets are therefore only valid for the day and train booked.
Pre-sale and date change
The ticket can be purchased up to three months prior to the date of departure, at authorized points of sale. If, once purchased, the departure date needs to be changed, the issue of a new ticket can be requested in the country where the original ticket was bought. Conditions for the change vary according to the tariff previously chosen.

- Riviera passholder fares are required reservation fees for those using a Eurailpass, Eurail Select Pass, or a Eurail France 'n Italy Pass.
